Chefchaouen is an incredibly beautiful little remote town, washed in blue and indigo, situated up in the Rif Mountains in Northern Morocco.
We stayed for two nights in the older part of the town, just above the main square.
While taking one of our many leisurely strolls through the quaint streets and lanes, I chanced upon these two angelic little girls amble up a flight of steps.
From a purely technical perspective, the photographs of these two little girls (below) are nothing to write home about. I wish these were much sharper. But then, it isn’t often that a photograph is successful in capturing the charm, innocence, tender beauty and serenity of small children in their natural surroundings. From that perspective, I think these images are quite outstanding.
Every time I look at the photographs of these two lovely little girls, I am reminded of the marvel of creation – of how profoundly beautiful the world is. I am reminded of Minnie, my daughter when she was of this age.
I am reminded of my shared humanity, the common destiny of the human race.
It is therefore with great joy that I share these images with my readers…
