It was our last morning in Vientiane, before we moved on to a new continent (Africa), after a break in India. We were flying out that evening.

One of the most beautiful places in the world with wonderful people to match, Laos boasts of a picturesque boutique capital – Vientiane. Our household goods has already been shipped to India a couple of days back and it was one of those poignant times when you are torn between the sadness of having to leave behind something and at the same time, looking forward to a new phase in life, in a new land.

Early that morning I grabbed my camera, went into the city and took some last shots. I leave you with some images of what I consider as one of the most fascinating urban landscapes of the world – a place of beauty unsurpassed.
